For these intimate concerts, International jazz vocalist Hetty Kate is joined by celebrated musicians, pianist Maxime Moyaerts and bassist Victor Foulon. As the trio explores classics and curiosities from the swing, cool jazz and bop eras you'll discover the joys of the jazz trio, a simplicity allowing each musician, and importantly, each song to shine.

Funny, charming and effortless, Hetty is known as "the real deal" and "one of the best swing singers today," her impressive career has taken her from small clubs to the world’s top stages, including The Sydney Opera House. With a voice and intonation that evokes the greats of the 1950s, Hetty brings fresh energy to the American Songbook, pouring love into each performance whether it be Gershwin or Dameron. Hetty always honors each song's story, using subtle improvisation that respects the lyrics, a quality that captivates audiences globally.
Over the course of her career, Hetty has released eleven critically acclaimed albums and performed at many festivals in Japan, the USA, Australia, Europe and Asia. Hetty also toured extensively with award-winning Australian jazz musician James Morrison for many years, notably as the featured vocalist on his symphonic concert (Europe/Asia/Australia) entitled "The A to Z of Jazz".
