For the Carte Blanche series at the Music Village slovene bassist and composer brings together musicians of many origins from various musical backgrounds for 4 nights of celebration and creation through music and new encounters.
 
Dusan Novakov is a drummer with great music sensibility who enthuses the audience in an outstanding way and is furthermore in demand for many international formations. Dusan has played with international stars like Mark Murphy, Oliver Lake, George Cables, John Marshall, Dick Oatts, Don Menza, Kirk Lightsey, Michelle Hendricks, Toninio Horta, Dusko Gojkovic, Valery Ponomarev,  Andi Bey, Bread Lealy, Karl Ratzer, Timna Brauer and Elias Meiri Ensemble, Fernando Correa, Fritz Pauer, Big Band Graz, Frank Lacy, Gregory Porter, Andy Middleton and many more.
 
Jean-Paul Estiévenart is Belgium’s sound of wisdom, a MVP trumpeter known for his unique sound and voice which resemble a deeper understanding of music.
 
Wajdi Riahi, the tunisian rising-star pianist, has been mesmerizing audiences ever since his arrival from Tunisia. His is the sound of an open heart, the song of spirit, hope, joy, of life and love.
 
Robert Jukic has been playing and recording since the mid 90’s, performed with Igal Foni, Reut Regev, Jean Paul Bourelly, Adrien Mears, Owen Hart Jr., Jim Rotondi, Oliver Kent, Flip Phillip, Ed Partyka, Renato Chicco, Jonathan Blake, Nicole Henry, Owen Howard, John Stowell, Howard Curtis, Andy Middleton, Femi Temowo, Jure Pukl, Deborah Brown, Antoine Drye, Miles Griffith, Fritz Pauer, Danny Grisset, Renne Manning, Louis Bonilla, Dena DeRose, Sheila Cooper, Steve Klink, Kaja Draksler, Marko Churnchetz, Igor Lumpert, Dusko Gojkovich, Daniele d`Agaro, Tony Pancella, Rob Bargad, European Movement Jazz Orchestra, Generations international youth band, Big Band RTV Slovenia and many others. There’s over 70 records with him as a sideman or composer/arranger. He also writes music for his projects of which there are 19 records.
