A tribute disc to Italian Jazz with compositions of great musicians such as Franco D'Andrea, Enrico Rava, Roberto Gatto, Daniele Tittarelli, Enrico Pierannunzi, Enrico Bracco, Max Ionata and others.
The title ''A Tu per Tu'' has multiple meanings:
The meeting of the piano and sax.
Through a repertoire that ranges from different songs, by nature and character, often played in the original versions by different ensembles, but which with a work of rearrangement, have been adapted for a perfect marriage of the duo creating sonorities that reach peaks of fullness as a large group.
''A Tu per tu'' as the meeting with each composition and composer chosen for the repertoire.
The love for Jazz and for the musicians who do it well is the origin of this work, which wants to be a tribute to those who seek and spend their energies in something ''beautiful'' to which everyone can and must benefit.
The album received many positive reviews from seasoned critics and audiences
such as:
Stefano Di Battista, Max Ionata, Franco D'Andrea, Enrico Rava, Philippe Catherine, Paolo Fresu, just to name a few of the great musicians who have
listened to us and who know us, have spoken and written excellent things about this
album and our music.
The duo played in UMBRIA Jazz, Casa del Jazz Rome, Stockholm Jazz Festival, Zagabria Jazz, Italian Jazz Festival and many other places.
