Giulia Lorenzoni is currently active in the European and American jazz scene. She can boast of collaborations and concerts in Rome, Berlin, Bruxelles, Saint Louis and New York.
She has worked in the theatre as a singer and actress and in 2018 she published her first book, “Una valigia di perplessità” (Love more nation production), from which she drew a real show with monologues and songs written and arranged by her.
She has collaborated with Rai (Italian national television) as a singer, actress and composer.
ABOUT THE PROJECT – GIULIA LORENZONI 4TET
Giulia Lorenzoni, Tobias Nicoletti, Giuseppe Civiletti, Gianluca Costa, are a quartet of exceptional musicians from Italy. Their repertoire includes traditional jazz by the great authors (Porter, Ellington, Gershwin, Monk), in addition to their original songs. “Italian Stories”, their latest album, is a contemporary concept of original jazz music with lyrics in Italian.
They played at the Saint Louis Jazz Festival (US) in 2023 as international guests.
