IBIYEWA brings together three strong personalities from the Belgian capital: Angelo Moustapha, Beninese drummer and protégé of Lionel Loueke, the central Belgian saxophonist Toine Thys and guitarist Joel Rabesolo, one of Madagascar's leading artists of the younger generation. Imagine the rhythms of a master drummer from Benin, the dancing harmonies of a Madagascan guitarist and the melodic improvisations of a saxophonist in love with the equator. "Ici nous ressemble" in Yoruba, IBIYEWA is music at the crossroads of traditional music and creative innovation.
