De Europese Unie heeft besloten: de bruine beer keert terug naar Nederland. Maar hoe gaan we daarmee om?
Samenleven met de beer
is een symbolische participatieve theatervoorstelling waarin het publiek samen in gesprek gaat over deze fictieve herintroductie. In een denkbeeldig bewonersoverleg bespreken de deelnemers, onder enthousiaste begeleiding van bureau
Modus Vivendi
, hoe mens en beer naast elkaar kunnen bestaan. Het doel: samen zoeken naar consensus over co-existentie.
Ursus is het collectief achter de voorstelling en bestaat uit theatermaker Inonge Jante Stekelenburg, schrijver Sebbe Poll en cabaretier Daniël van den Brink. Met deze voorstelling oefenen we onze democratische vaardigheden en leveren we een bijdrage aan het verminderen van polarisatie in het maatschappelijk gesprek.

Samenleven met de beer
is a symbolic participatory theatre performance made in Dutch in which the audience takes part in a discussion about this fictional reintroduction. In an imagined residents’ assembly, participants explore the return of the European brown bear to the Netherlands, guided by the inspired facilitation of bureau
Modus Vivendi
. Together, they search for consensus on co-existence.
Ursus is the collective behind the performance, consisting of theatre maker Inonge Jante Stekelenburg, writer Sebbe Poll and comedian Daniël van den Brink. With this performance, we practise our democratic skills and contribute to reducing polarisation in public debate.
This event will be held in Dutch.
