Alweer een tijdje een succes, al zeggen we het zelf: Torpedo's gezellige flamenco-avond. U treft altijd andere maar steevast steengoeie artiesten. Vanavond zijn dat YOTA BARON (zang) en YORGOS VALIRIS (gitaar).
Deur open: 20:00.
Deze avond wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door La Cerveza Española, importeur van Mahou. Beste van bier van Amsterdam.

The "Café Cantantes" appeared in Spain in the mid of 19th century, as private premises open to public for their entertainment, in which singing and guitar playing were the main attraction.
They played an important role in flamenco's preservation and development and after its prohibition, during Franco's dictatorship, it began to arouse great cultural interest among the general public, ceasing to be known by a minority locked up in bars, taverns or private parties and reaching social classes, even outside the Andalusian borders. 
Torpedo theater is happy to host this series of 'Café Cantantes' every month.
