Dmitry Baevsky, one of today’s leading alto saxophonists, brings his deeply melodic sound and harmonic sensibility to the stage for a special two-day jazz event. Joining him is German pianist Andre Weiss, French bassist Géraud Portal and Italian drummer Armando Luongo.
Across two evenings, the quartet will explore the rich legacy of American music through two distinctive tributes. The first concert celebrates the elegant sophistication of Duke Ellington, revisiting his masterpieces with fresh arrangements and spirited improvisation. The second night shifts to the soulful world of Ray Charles, honoring his blues-infused grooves and unmistakable emotional depth. Together, these performances promise an exceptional musical journey led by four outstanding artists united by their passion for jazz
