Piment Oiseau is a Brussels-based quartet led by clarinetist Anton Kerkhof, which brings music from New Orleans and the Caribbean Sea.
The group revisits the legacy of Hot Jazz by celebrating great composers and performers while arranging rare gems from the repertoire.
Backed by one of the best old-style rhythm sections (Laurent Vigneron, Antoine Maes, and Benjamin Clement), Piment Oiseau offers a vibrant and generous concert, fragrant with spices and bathed in the slow waters of the Mississippi.
