Sinds 2010 wordt dit bijzondere lijsttheater geëxploiteerd met een duidelijke functie: een podium bieden aan allerlei vormen van cultuur. Het bestuur werkt enthousiast om er een bolwerk en pleisterplaats voor kunst en cultuur in Groningen van te maken.
