De letters van AINSI staan symbool voor de opdracht aan AINSI: Art-Industry-Nature-Society-Innovation. Als multidisciplinair gebouw functioneert het voormalig industrieel complex aan de Maas als verzamelplaats voor Creatieve Industrie in Maastricht en regio.
