Trumpeter Miles Davis is one of the undisputed geniuses of the 20th century. Not only was he at the forefront of several improvised musical revolutions, but his sparing, melodic trumpet playing took jazz in unexplored directions, full of emotion and innuendo. This high-flying Belgian quintet pays tribute to him as a quintet without trumpet, because the great master will also be implied in what promises to be a memorable concert.
