| Art of the Messengers is een jazzkwintet, toegewijd aan het behoud van de nalatenschap van Art Blakey en de Jazz Messengers. Met drummer Johnny Agisilaou (Cyprus), pianist Daniel Bulatkin (Tsjechië), bassist Jurriaan De Kok (Nederland), trompettist George El Haber (Cyprus) en tenorsaxofonist Marios Charalampous (Cyprus) brengt deze internationale groep traditie samen met eigentijdse flair. Met diepe wortels in de Europese jazzscene vieren hun krachtige optredens de blijvende geest van hard bop, terwijl ze de grenzen van de moderne jazz verkennen.
