Alexander Brott is one of my favorite young players on the scene. His playing is so pure in terms of where he’s coming from and also how personal his approach is. This album is a beautiful representation of his elegant playing and his fantastic writing. Every tune is masterfully constructed and a perfect vehicle for this amazing band. All of these great musicians are playing from a place of empathy and love. This a great record!!”
