| Yiska is a young jazz singer from the Netherlands. While she started out singing in church, she became increasingly connected with jazz music over the years. This led her to the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, where she experimented with a lot of different sides of vocal jazz, such as odd meters, improvisation and vocalese. All these sides and more are still very much represented in her repertoire, so come and check it out!

| Yiska is een jonge Nederlandse jazzzangeres. Hoewel ze is begonnen met zingen in de kerk, raakte ze over de jaren heen steeds meer verbonden met de jazzmuziek. Dit bracht haar naar het Koninklijk Conservatorium van den Haag, waar ze veel heeft geëxperimenteerd met verschillende kanten van de vocale jazz, zoals onregelmatige maatsoorten, improvisatie en vocalese. Al deze kanten en meer zijn nog steeds terug te horen in haar repertoire, dus kom vooral even luisteren!
