Vocaal Ensemble Cantamare heeft de laatste jaren van zich doen spreken met een verrassende programmering en indrukwekkende vertolkingen van modern repertoire. ‘Sing Nowell!’ is een internationaal kerstconcert voor fijnproevers, waarbij de bekende Christmas Carols uiteraard niet ontbreken.

Bijzonder dit jaar is de dirigent: voor het eerst zal de jonge dirigent Daniëlle van Lieshout het concert leiden. Zij heeft zich al meermaals bewezen met uitvoeringen van het Mozart Requiem, de Johannes Passion en de Passiemotetten van Poulenc. Tijdens dit kerstconcert zal zij het ensemble verleiden tot muzikale hoogstandjes.

Voorafgaand aan het concert zal dirigent Daniëlle van Lieshout voor geïnteresseerden een introductie op het concertprogramma verzorgen.

The Cantamare Vocal Ensemble presented already many surprising programs, with impressive interpretations of modern repertoire. ‘Sing Nowell!’ is an international Christmas Concert for connoisseurs. Also a few famous Christmas Carols are on the program.

The conductor is special this year: for the first time, the young conductor Daniëlle van Lieshout will lead the concert. She has already proven herself several times with performances of the Mozart Requiem, the St. John Passion and the Passion Motets by Poulenc. During this Christmas concert she will entice the ensemble to perform musical delights.

For those who are interested, prior to the concert conductor Daniëlle van Lieshout will give an introduction to the concert program.
