On June 1st, the final Stories & Jazz event of the season will feature an intriguing ensemble of musicians. He has since embarked on a diverse musical journey, from engagements in various musical productions to extensive tours with renowned ensembles such as The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Having studied Contrabass-Jazz music at the Conservatorium Groningen and Den Haag, Hans has honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed instructors such as Koos Wiltenburg, Jan Voogd, and Hein van de Geyn. Throughout his career, Hans has accompanied numerous workshops, masterclasses, and presentations alongside esteemed artists like James Taylor, Lee Konitz, and Mike Stern, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the art of jazz.
