Ad van Aart - Sound Sculpture Performance
Start 20.30 Entree 9 euro
Adres: Ventoselaan 1, Eindhoven

Sound Performance with Homemade Instruments
Ad van Aart is a visual and sound artist. He creates unique sound sculptures, which he uses to curate interactive exhibitions. In addition, he designs and builds his own musical instruments for his performances—often incorporating repurposed materials, much like he does in his sculptures.
For his performances he arranges these instruments into compositions reminiscent of still lifes, which serve as the starting point for improvised sonic pieces. Over the course of the evening, he will perform several of these compositions using his distinctive instruments—which are capable of producing some truly strange and unexpected sounds. It promises to be a surprising experience for both the ears and the eyes!
The performances will be complemented by videos created by Gerard Slegers.
