We are Consciously[UN]Comfortable with the state of the world (and have been for a while) - painfully aware at this point. We believe that social boundaries need to be pushed and our society needs a reminder to lead their lives with LOVE and not FEAR.
To enable this freedom of being, we are creating a series of events and interactions (safe spaces) that breed this culture in our communities - ultimately promoting freedom of expression while still respecting that of others!
Our first Amsterdam installment of DONT MIND THE BASS (DMTB) sees a fun and energetic way of doing just that!
DMTB is a music event born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa (2012) where the bass music culture has been thriving for many decades. It brings all individuals and arts together, and culminates into energetic nights of connecting bodies to the music, enabling minds to vibrate at a higher frequency and we get lost in the sounds of multiple bass music genres.
Art & Artist celebration is our destination and the Music is our guide!! On the night a variety of music genres and contemporary art installations will be on exhibit, allowing your body and mind to freely express itself while flowing to the dubstep, UKF grime, bass house, garage, jungle & drum n bass frequencies.
Golden Skullzz,
Get ready for a wild ride as Golden Skullzz, the upcoming dynamic DJ and producer duo, unravels their musical journey straight from the heart of Rotterdam! After one half of the duo returned home, after living in Atlanta, Georgia USA, they reunited in 2023 to create magic. Fueled by a friendship that’s weathered for more than a decade, bonded by a shared love for rhythm, gold and skulls. Golden Skullzz is set to unleash a mind-bending, jaw-dropping explosion with beat defying genres. It’s more than just music; it’s a journey that mirrors their laughter-filled friendship. Brace for impact! Join the party where beats meet banter and every track is a story. Get ready for Bass House, Speed Garage, Drum & Bass and more—their music isn’t just a sound; it’s an experience. Meathix
a sound enthusiast from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Meathix’s sound has a lot of angles, spanning a wide spectrum of BPMs from 130 to 174 BPM. Rooted in the rich tapestry of the UK bass scene, Meathix’s lower BPM ranges with deep breakbeat rhythms and get into the realms of deep garage. Drawing inspiration from the bass scene his mixes weave intricate narratives of sound. Stepping into the 140 range, Meathix unleashes his love for grimy sounds, deep dubstep and other depths of bass. From heavy basslines to trippy melodies his lower frequencies will definitely leave you with a stank-face. But it’s in the higher BPM ranges where Meathix feels most comfortable, as he dives headfirst into the realms of Drum & Bass, Jungle, and experimental DNB.
So long story short, His style is versatile as it is captivating. Meathix’s sound knows no bound.
Red Lebanon
A name that is not unknown in the Netherlands, this DJ has been active in the world of Drum and Bass for over 12 years. With his carefully selected sets Red Lebanon has made a name for himself at home and abroad, playing events such as: Let It Roll, Blackout, Liquicity, Renegade Hardware, Hospitality on the Beach and many more. In addition to these great events, he also has the honor of being a resident at Korsakov & WTF. All in all, this talented DJ has left his footprint in the world of Drum and Bass.
