The Stomping Aces started out as an act at lindyhop dance events, and plays jazz from the 30’s till 50’s. Swinging, danceable jazz like Count Basie and Benny Goodman, with a great repertoire of sometimes almost forgotten gems of the American songbook.

Vocalist Egle Petrosiute is now main subject teacher at the Artez conservatorium in Zwolle, a very professional and versatile vocalist, that frequently tours internationally.
Gitarist Jack Kinsella from the UK is a melodical swinger in the style of Charlie Christian, and has a guitar and amp just like him, to ensure his beautiful authentic sound. Bassist Niels Tausk has been a mainstay on the Dutch jazz scene for many decades, and a teacher at the conservatories of Den Haag and Amsterdam. David Puime is a Spanish drummer that is becoming more and more visible on the international jazz scene. He has recorded a CD with the likes of Joris Roelofs, worked with Jasper Blom, Benjamin Herman and Ian Cleaver and toured with Timothy Banchet and Xavi Torres.

|The Stomping Aces begon als act voor lindyhop dance events, en speelt muziek uit de jaren 30 tot 50. Leuke, swingende en dansbare jazz van bijvoorbeeld Count Basie en Benny Goodman, met mooie -soms bijna vergeten- liedjes uit het American songbook.
Zangeres Egle Petrosiute is hoofvak zang docente aan het Artez conservatorium in Zwolle, een zeer professionele en veelzijdige vocalist, die veel internationaal tourt.
Gitarist Jack Kinsella uit de UK is een melodische swinger in de stijl van Charlie Christian, en heeft precies zo’n zelfde gitaar en versterker, voor de authentieke sound. Bassist Niels Tausk is geen onbekende op de Nederlandse jazzpodia, en als docent verbonden aan de conservatoria van Den Haag en Amsterdam. David Puime is een Spaanse drummer die een steeds duidelijkere plek krijgt in de Nederlandse jazz scene, CD opnames maakte met Joris Roelofs, gigs deed met Jasper Blom, Benjamin Herman en internationaal tourde met Timothy Banchet en Xavi Torres.
